iConnect Technologies was a participant in the CommunicAsia that was held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, on May 23rd to 25th, 2017. This was the 28th annual international exhibition and conference for communications and information technology.
There was also a pre-event held on May 22nd, about digital media for tomorrow. This involved a few hours of events in the afternoon about VR technology, digital and satellite broadcasting, and digital identities.
Three events were held concurrently: Broadcast Asia 2017, SatComm 2017, and Enterprise IT 2017. UB and SES were the organizers of the event, with hosting provided by Infocomm Media Development Authority, and GovTech Singapore.
It’s important for iConnect Technologies to build relationships with new technology suppliers, and to reinforce our current ties with business partners, in order to enhance our business. We also attended the event for many inspiring reasons.
The CommunicAsia event had over 1,100 exhibitors from around the world. This offered us a unique chance to meet industry peers that we don’t normally have a chance to connect with. We were also offered a chance to partner with some of the premier technology suppliers from around the world.
Positive results from our attendance at the conference will provide a premier launch pad for exciting new products in the IT industry. We’ll be able offering our clients the first chance to see and understand how these new product and tech solutions can help in transforming your industry. During the conference we were able to witness first-hand as the exhibitors presented their latest launches. We were able to experience live demonstrations at the booths and in the Hospitality Suites too. At the CommunicAsia 2017 Summit we were able to learn and gain insights from the experts in the industry as they spoke about disruptive but positive digital trends.
Information was presented at the conference about borderless broadband, cloud and big data, connectivity everywhere, enterprise mobility, cyber-security, smart cities, and satcomm.
Panels discussed the growing importance of cloud technologies, and the growing opportunities and challenges in the Asian market. There was also a thought leaders panel that discussed how to diversify your business model through creative partnerships, disruptive innovations, and strategic collaborations.
Other topics covered security in the industry, analytics, digital enterprise transformation, the transformation of future cities for livelihood and sustainability, and connecting the universe with things. The final day of the conference discussed topics on broadband for networks, security governance, workforce productivity, and mastering enterprise digital transformation.
